2. “’Someday’ is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you… If it’s important to you and want to do it ‘eventually,’ just do it and correct course along the way.” This nugget of wisdom came from Tim Ferriss, author of The Four Hour Work Week–a big inspiration for our currently mobile lifestyle.
3. There is more to life than the Bible Belt of the USA. And we want to experience it! Not that there is anything wrong with the South. We were both born and raised here and it holds a special place in our hearts. But the world is a much bigger place.
4. Learn a thing or two. About other cultures. About ourselves. Traveling keeps us on our toes and makes us aware of what is going on around us. Every new place or experience is an opportunity to learn something new.
5. Learn to love better. Being flexible & spontaneous as we travel the world requires that we work in harmony with each other. As we said at our wedding: it’s the two of us against the world and never against each other.
6. Experience the overwhelming glory of God in His creation. We want to take our own pictures, not just look at travel guide photos on the Internet. We want to not only see it ourselves, but to smell it, feel it, touch it, and breathe it.
7. To inspire other people (like you!) to do the same! This is your life!
