Last year was full of traveling adventures on the other side of the world, but now we’re embarking on a brand new adventure right here at home. We’re pumped to share this exciting news with the world!
So here’s our big news – Drew and I will be attending the School of Supernatural Life at our church (Grace Center) starting next week! It’s a nine month ministry school that meets on Mondays and Tuesdays that will equip us to encounter the supernatural ways of God in our every day life. We will receive practical instruction from world class teachers and pastors, as well as be a part of a small community group that meets weekly. The school ends next April with an outreach trip where we will put what we’ve learned into practice.

Why we want to do this
The SOSL is only in its second year, but after connecting with so many of last year’s students and seeing the transformation in their lives, we started to think this was something we wanted to pursue as well. Our flexible schedule lends itself perfectly to the school’s format. We will continue to accept new web design clients and work with our current ones, and Lori will continue teaching BarreAmped classes (I’m getting certified to teach Advanced & Bootcamp classes this weekend!) We have learned so much (and seen so much transformation and encounter with God in our own lives) from the teaching and fellowship at emanate (our young adult group at church) and we want to take it to the next level.
Interpreter logistics
We applied on the very last day of the deadline as an act of stepping out in faith, knowing that there was no interpreter for Drew. I really wanted to simply be a student, not an interpreter as well, and we talked with the leadership at the school about this. They have been wonderful as they worked with us to figure out a solution. We were accepted to the school, but only very recently received the news that an interpreter is now available! So that’s why our official enrollment in the school has come right at the last minute. We are still believing that God can and will supernaturally heal Drew and open his ears, but we are so thankful for this provision in the meantime!
Do you want to help us out?
We have paid our deposit, but there is still a large fee remaining for both of us. The money aspect of the school hasn’t weighed on our minds at all through this process. Over the past several years, and especially during our time in New Zealand and the months after our return, we have seen God’s incredible faithfulness to provide all we need and more as we rest in Him. He really is that good to His kids! So now we’re asking Him to do it again, and we wanted to reach out to you to see if you would be willing to partner with God and be part of the answer to our prayers.
The school is not cheap, but we know it will be worth it! Our tuition is $3500 each, minus our deposit ($200 each), with a married couples discount of $900. That brings our combined total to $5700.
Our first payment of $1900 is due by this Friday, Sept. 7. If you want to support us, you can click to donate online here (anonymously if you wish). We would be so grateful!
