8a – Breakfast at Fresh & Co
We arose to our next day in Times Square and enjoyed a fresh breakfast before making our way to the Top of the Rock to see the cityscape from the top of Rockefeller Center.
10a – Top of the Rock
Drew picked a prime location for his backflip shot in New York! You can see Central Park in the background.
Below you can see the Chrysler Building just behind the MetLife building on the left and the Empire State Building on the right.
11a – Shopping & Sightseeing
1p – Pick up lunch from Blue Dog Cafe
2p – Picnic at Central Park, Belvedere Castle
We picked up some sandwiches and smoothies from Blue Dog Cafe on our way to Central Park to enjoy a bit of sunshine. The famous Great Lawn is just past the pond in the picture below.
4p – Cheesecake at the Carnegie Deli
When we heard these cheesecakes were one of the best you could eat in New York, we tried them out and we think it truly lived up to its name & fame!
6p – Dinner at Toasties
We enjoyed amazing wraps here so much that we wanted to come back again. It also contains a great window to people-watch the busy crowds of New York City!
8p – Top of the Rock
And we couldn’t miss Rockefeller Center at night. New York is truly magical during the holidays.
We were even able to travel the 60+ floors up by elevator to the Top of the Rock again to see the city lights at night. The Empire State Building was just recently fitted with new LED lights, which you can below.
