Time for an update on our life! We’re currently back in school and are gearing up for our outreach trip in April. If you received a letter from us over the holidays, we have an even more recent update. We thought we were headed to Asheville, NC, but as it turns out, plans fell through with the host church there. But we are even MORE excited about our new destination(s)!
We will spend the first half of our time in Auburn, Alabama teaching and serving at Campus Church. There are sure to be lots of opportunities to connect with college students at Auburn University (which is the alma mater of several of our teammates!) We’ll then continue on to St. Simons Island, Georgia to partner with a church there. Hello, gorgeous beach! We’ll be on outreach for a total of 3 weeks (April 1-21).
If you’re interested in a bit more information, here’s the reader’s digest version of the letter we sent out:
The love and power of God are more amazing than we could even imagine, and we’re partnering with the Lord to spread His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. As you may know, we are currently in a part-time ministry school. We’ve set aside over 20 hours a week in a community setting to be equipped to share the love of God wherever we may be. We’ve found it to be a very worthy (and even life-changing!) investment thus far.
Part of the curriculum for the school is to put into practice the things we have learned throughout the year. It’s been shown that when you simply hear a lesson, you retain only 15-30% of the material. But when you teach it yourself, you retain up to 90%! We have an incredible opportunity to do this very thing in an end-of-school outreach trip.
We would like to invite you to join us in prayer and finances over the next five months as we finish our training in school and embark on this outreach trip.
Prayer Needs:
That we would learn as much as possible through our gifted & anointed teachers
That our hearts would remain open to healing and we would daily walk in the fullness of Christ
That we would be good stewards of our time & resources
Financial Needs:
A special gift toward our remaining school tuition – It’s been paid in full!
A special gift toward our outreach trip – We lack approximately $825 of the $2000 total for both our trips. Any donations we receive in excess of $825 will be used to offset the cost of our expenses as we are away from work those three weeks, and we would love to be able to give to other teammates as well.

Our next financial deadline is February 12 and our trip must be paid in full by March 12.
