You might remember that we met a couple in Kerikeri after I got stung by a wasp. (If you don’t recall, the story is here.)
Well, we came back to stay with Dave & Kirsten and their baby Hugh to help with marketing for their business–Head to Toe Natural Health Clinic.
They even let us try out the float tank (a tank filled with a shallow pool of water concentrated with 25% Epsom salts. You float like a cork since there is more salt in there than in the Dead Sea! We came out ridiculously relaxed. Plus the magnesium sulfate in the salt is really good for your body.)
I did quite a bit of baking while we were here, whipping up some Date Filled Apple Muffins (pictured, recipe here), Apple Cranberry Currant cookies, and my famous Banana Coconut Chocolate Chips cookies!
They also let us borrow their car to go on a walk near Whangaroa Harbor called the Duke’s Nose Trail.
