It’s official. We are now homeless supertrampers ready to travel the world with no strings attached!
Sort of 😉
We did move out of our apartment last week though. It was very bittersweet to leave our home of the last 2 1/2 years.
Our apartment began to be emptied, slowly but surely.
And I definitely had my fair share of “I can’t believe we are doing this!” moments during the process.
The first one came as we hauled away a massive enclosed trailer and filled it up with furniture and boxes.
It was a tiring week of packing and moving to be sure.
The whole month of December was a whirlwind actually. Between Christmas shopping, gift wrapping, working, traveling to Memphis (twice) and St. Louis, and celebrating Christmas in 14 different places, I was worn out.
We are super excited, though, about some very thoughtful Christmas gifts that we received (not to mention our awesome Kindle & my cozy North Face jacket, just to name a couple)! Drew’s brother & sister-in-law had luggage tags and a journal made with our travel blog name:
We are planning to keep a log of our travels in this notebook to have a written memory of the places we visit and people we meet.
Since we’ve moved out of our apartment, we have been house-sitting for some friends and taking care of 2 of the most wonderful doggies on the planet–Jackson & Isa!
Could they be any more precious??
We are continuing to pack away what we aren’t taking with us and get ready to fly out in 22 days!
