In just a few days, these Supertrampers will be running to support a really awesome ministry here in New Zealand that gives hope to girls who need freedom from life-controlling issues like self-harm, addictions, eating disorders, and sexual abuse. This will be my very first 5K race, and Drew’s first 10K. For the past few […]
Can you even believe we’ve been gone for six whole months?! It seems like an eternity, but at the same time, it feels like it was just yesterday that we arrived at the airport in Auckland and started our journey in the Land of the Long White Cloud.
It’s here! We are ridiculously excited to unveil our latest project since we’ve been traveling (our last one being our There & Back Again Print Shop). The concept for this business was conceived, created, and birthed entirely here in New Zealand. You could call it our baby, if you’d like. We’re rather proud parents 😉 So […]
When we stayed at The Sandcastle in Golden Bay, we toyed with the idea of leaving a day earlier than planned, partially because of the strange spiritual atmosphere we were experiencing there. Thank you for the huge difference you have made in our lives! With much love, Drew & Lori
Today marks day 100 of our travels thus far! It’s been a wild ride. There are still days when I think, “I am standing on the side of a mountain in New Zealand . . . What?!” Drew and I have learned so much since we’ve been traveling–about ourselves, other cultures, trusting God to lead […]
Even though we are on the other side of the world, we are still thinking of all the mothers (and grandmothers, aunts, sister-in-law, etc.) who mean so much to us. Thank you for who you have been to us, who you are, and who you are becoming.
Twice during our stay on the North Shore we drug ourselves out of bed to catch pictures of the sunrise over the ocean. The first time we walked to Winstone’s Cove, where we were greeted with stunning pinks and purples in the sky.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our friends Ashley & Justin, we have a car!
